Love these mini-pin cushions. I asked the hubby to bring me home some plastic bottle tops.
And these are so pretty.
And these got me then thinking about stick pins too.
Turns out decorating stick pins are so easy! I got ideas with this tutorial.
Bonus, I already had everything I needed for this! For my pin cushion I found a scrap of striped material and bunched it up, then covered it with a yoyo, and a couple of buttons. I didn't wrap it with embroidery floss to make the "pumpkin" shape, and I like it better that way I think. And super bonus, I already had tons of beads, pins, and E6000! I used corsage pins (much longer than regular stick pins so I'd have extra space for beads) and "extra long dressmaker pins" (they are 1 5/16" without a bead on the end).
